Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the types of imlicatures, forms of implicature, and the meaning of implicature. The implicature of Titip Satu Cinta karya Haviz Deni dan Elmy Suzana. This study is a study that uses a pragmatic approach. The implicature study about (1) the type, form, and meaning of bublic conversation implicatures; (2) the type, form, and meaning ofparticular conversation implicature; (3) the type, shape, and meaning of the scaled implicature; and (4) the types, meanings, and meanings of convertional implicatures in the noval Titip Satu Cinta karya Haviz Deni dan Elmy Suzana. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study is a sentence is speech-utteration containing implicature. The data in this research is obtained by reading and taking note technique. When the data is collected it is then identified by recording or citing data relating to the focus of the study in the noval. The data that have been identified, then selected by sorting the appropriate data and not in accordance with the focus of the study. The selected data that are interpreted to where they belong with the focus of the problem in research that is important and related to the implicature. Theselected data are interpreted through interperatation of meaning in words, sentences, or in the form of dialogue contained in the novel of Titip Satu Cinta. The result of this study indicate the the implicatures contained in titip satu cinta novels by Haviz Deni dan Elmy Suzana are common conversational implicatures, special convertional implicatures, scaled implicatures, and conventional implicatures. The form of implicature found in the type of general conversational implicatre is the is the form of a declarative sentence, while the implicature form found in the type of implicature of a particular conversation is the form of introgative, imperative, and declarative sentences. The form of implicature that found in the type of implicature scaled is the form of news sentence (declarative) and the form of implicature found in the type of conventional implicature is the form of sentence of news (declarative) and introgative sentence.
