Thesis, Program Study of Sendratasik ( Art of Drama, Dance and Music), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Hamzanwadi University. Advisor: (1) M. Ridwan Markarma, M.Pd. (2) Ashwan Kailani, M.Sn. This research aims to know the presentation form of Putri Mandalika theater and function of Putri Mandalika theater as a medium of social criticism. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research has ben conducted in Seriwe village, Jerowaru district and the presentation theater of Putri Mandalika. Data collection techniques used by research is observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research is data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. After data analysis, it can be concluded that: (a) The form presentation theater of Putri Mandalika is presented in the form of a traditional theater with different script and featuring dance as a theater opener, improvising koreo with several supporting elements of the teater, that is stage design, illustrasion music, costume and audience. (b) the function of the Putri Mandalika theater is not just a function of entertainment (aesthetic), but it serves as a medium of social criticism.
