Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based on local wisdom for business and simple aircraft as the topic towards the students’ outcome. It was a true experimental research. The population of this study was the VIII grader of NW Junior High School at Labuan Lombok in the academic year 2018/2019. The research sample of this study was determined by random sampling technique. Class A of the VIII grader as an experimental group and class B as the controlling group. Research design used in this study was post test only control design. To gather the data, the researcher used students’ test result. In analyzing the data, the researcher used separated Varian. The hypothesis result showed that thitung > ttabel was (3,69 > 1,69) which means the Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based on local wisdom for business and simple aircraft material was effective towards students’ of VIII grader learning outcome of NW junior high school at Labuan Lombok in the academic year 2018/2019.
