Abstract

In this study, the present researcher conclude a descriptive study on analyzing the EFL learners’ oral ability in making, accepting, and declining an appointment for eight grades at SMP Islam Tahfidz Kerongkong. The purpose of study is findout the EFL learners’ oral ability in making, accepting, declining an appointment expression. The present researcher used a descriptive quantitative design. The popular of this research is taken from eight grade students’ at SMP Islam Tahfidz Kerongkong district are 30 students’. The research of data analysis indicated that it was done quantitatively. This research is conducted without hypothesis of study. The result of study were; (1) the present researcher described the students testing using a dialogue. In the result of test, students’ got an average score that consists of 60, 66, 73, 80, 86 and total of mean score of students test was 69,70. Most of students’ got score 73, average score of students’ got 66 and 60 and some of students’ got score score 80 and 86. (2) the present researcher described that students’ was highest score on the A Class was 86 and the lowest score was 60 with the mean score which was 69.70.
