Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine that ELSA speak application was effective in teaching pronunciation. The subject of this study was students in the tenth grade at SMA Islam Darul Mujahidin NWDI Majidi in the school year 2024 consisted of 18 students. This research employed pre experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The researcher used test to collect the data. This research used SPSS 22 for Windows to analyze the data. The present researcher conducted the treatment about four meetings. The result showed that the post-test mean score was higher than pre-test mean score (77.22>50.83) and the hypothesis was accepted which is (t(z) = -3.756 at p = 0.000). It was indicated that the treatment succeeded in improving students’ pronunciation. It was concluded that teaching pronunciation using “ELSA speak application” can improve the students’ English pronunciation. Key words: pronunciation, ELSA speak application
