Abstract

This thesis discusses Effectiveness of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) in Teaching English Writing at MA Yadinu Masbagik.. This researchers investigates whether CRT was highly effective for students learning to writing English from diverse cultural and explores how these students can benefit from a culturally responsive approach to English teaching. This researcher took second grade students of MA Yadinu Masbagik for the 2023-2024 academic year. To find out whether the effectiveness of cullturally responsive teaching significantly impact to the students’ writing ability the present researcher uses the quantitative research. This study was a kind of pre experimental design. The researcher compared the data both pre-test and post-test result. on pretest the present researcher found that the lowest score was 39 and the highest score was 63, with the mean score was 49.45 and the standard deviation was 7.722. While on the post-test, the lowest score was 51 and the highest score was 80, with the mean score was 68.65 and the standard deviation was 8.549.After processing the data, researchers concluded that culturally responsive teaching techniques to improve students'' English writing skills in teaching writing in the second grade of MA YADINU Masbagik in the 2023-2024 school year. The effectiveness of it can be seen from the results of the t Paired Samples test 5.891 where sig. Keyword : cultural responsive teaching, teaching writing english
