Abstract
ABSTRACT The research problems of this research, what were the strategies of English Lecturer in teaching reading at the two semeter of Hamzanwadi university and how the implement of English lecturer strategies in teaching reading. The method of this research was qualitative research. The subject of this research was English lecturer in Hamzanwadi University. The instrument of this research were observation ceklist and interview. The result of the research found that some strategies that the lecturer used as specially Questioning strategies. Questioning, the lecturer was able to know how far their students understand what the lecturer has given to them. And the lecturer was able to know how far is understanding of the student to do the task after reading the text that has been given and the students guided to more focus on the text and understand what the content of the text.
