Abstract
This experimental research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model and problem posing on students' learning outcomes of caloric matter and changes in the form of class X MA NW Sukamulia lesson year 2017/2018. The research design used is factorial design. The population is all students of class X which amounted to two classes namely class X 1 and class X 2. Sampling technique using samples saturated, where class X 1 which amounted to 20 students as experimental class and X 2 amounted to 24 students as a control class. The data analysis technique used for prerequisite test is the normality test with Chi squared test and homogeneity test with bartlet test. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is a two-way anava. From result of analysis obtained FA count ≥ FA table that is 3.08 ≥ 2.08 this mean there is influence of problem based learning and problem posing to result of student learning matter of heat and change of form of substance of student class X MA NW Sukamulia Lesson Year 2017/2018.
