Abstract
Education has a central role in the development of development and one aspect of improving human resources. Problems that still exist in the world of education are the still low cognitive learning outcomes of students, especially on biology subjects, so that it requires an action that can overcome these problems, one of which is by changing the learning process better. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Possing Learning Model with the strategies of search, solve, create, share (SSCS) on student learning outcomes in biology class X MA DARUSSALIMIN NW Academic Year 2018 / 2019. This type of research is experimental research using Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study was class X students in semester II which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 39 students. The sample in this study was class X IPA I as the experimental class and class X IPA 2 as the control class using simple random sampling technique. The instruments in this study were cognitive learning tests in the form of essay tests which numbered 5 items. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value of the experimental class posttest was 74.3 and the control class was 65.61. While the hypothesis testing using statistical analysis with the t-test formula at the confidence level of 5% is obtained by tcount of 3.279. After being compared with t table 1.688, then tcount 3.279> t table 1.688, so the conclusion in this study is that there is the influence of the Problem Possing Learning Model with strategies for search, solve, create, share (SSCS) on student learning outcomes in biology class X MA DARUSSALIMIN NW 2018/2019 Academic Year.
