Abstract

Abstract This study aims to see the effect of natural resource utilization on the understanding of science learning concept in grade V students of State Elementary School 2 Terara. This research includes experimental research type with research design is pretest-posttest control group design. The sample used is V class of 50 students divided into two classes, VB class is used as experiment class and VA class is used as control class. The instrument of data collection in this research is multiple choice test. Before the instrument is used the instrument is tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is the test-t polled variance. Based on the result of t-test calculation at significant level (ɑ) = 0,05, got tcount> ttable that is 2,002> 1,714, so that null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted, hence can be concluded there is influence of source utilization natural power to understanding the concept of learning science.
