Abstract
This research is to develop a writing learning model based on Drill and Practice for grade 3 students at SDN 4 Suntalangu which is still low. The model used in this research is the Drill And Practice learning model. Behavioristic theory, this theory was pioneered by Thorndike (1913), Pavlov (1927) and Skiner (1974) who stated that learning is behavior that can be observed due to external stimuli. One can say that learning is shown from behaviors that can be seen not from what is in students' minds. The data in this study were in the form of observations and student learning tests, the source of the data in this study were 18 grade students of SDN 4 Suntalangu, consisting of 9 sons and 9 daughters. The results of this study indicate that using the Drill And Practice learning model in writing. This development can be seen from the process assessment and result assessment that has been done. The percentage of the success of the teacher aspects in draft I was 69.23%. In draft II it increased 92.30%. The percentage of success of student aspects in draft I was 65.38%. In draft II it increased 92.30%. Learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage of results in draft I, the average score of students is 68.61 with a percentage of 44.44% completeness, while in draft II the average score of students is 81.94 with a percentage of completeness of 83.33%.
