Abstract

In this era of digitalism, all information can be accessed easily through various technologies such as mobile phones / cellphones, laptops, TVs, radio, and so on. Technology has a positive impact on the world of education. This research and development aims to develop android-based interactive learning media. This research and development uses the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely: (1) Analysia, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The validation test results from the material expert validation are 40. If calculated to the formula, the result becomes 80%. The value is in the interval 61%-80% with the category "Valid/Good". The value obtained from the results of media expert validation is 77. If calculated into a five-scale formula, the result becomes 91%. The value is in the interval 81%-100% with the category "Very Valid/Very Good". And the value obtained from the results of linguist validation is 48. If calculated into the formula, the result becomes 96%. The value is in the interval 81%-100% with the category "Very Valid/Very Good". So it can be concluded that this android-based interactive media is valid, effective to use. Keywords: interactive learning media, android, reading beginnings
