Abstract

A vast development of science and technology has given various social impacts. This development occurred to ease human communication all around the world. The emergence of models and forms of social media influences the life pattern of human, human needs and even affect human characters. One of the social media that often used by Indonesian generation is Facebook or abbreviated as FB. Facebook is able to be influential in the life of most nation’s generation and has changed the education pattern in elementary school students as the growing individuals. The emergence of Facebook created a change in elementary school students’ education pattern that inclined to be modern. Communication pattern slightly forms individualistic humans, in which elementary school students are susceptible in getting negative influence from other Facebook users.
