Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of macromedia flash-based learning media on optical device material on student achievement in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Sikur academic year 2017/2018. The research design used is posttest only control design. Population in this research is all student of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sikur year lesson 2017/2018 which amounts 4 class with amount of student counted 139. Sampling technique in this research using probability sampling technique that is simple random sampling. So that the sample obtained in this study is class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. The instrument in this study was a multiple choice test which consisted of 19 items. The data analysis technique used for the prerequisite test is the normality test with chi-square test and homogeneity test with Bartlet test. While the data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is ttest. From the results of data analysis obtained t-count > t-table that is (2.031 > 1.998). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, Ha proposed received and H0 was rejected, these results indicate that there is an influence of macromedia flash based learning media on optical instrument material on the learning achievement of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sikur Keywords: Macromedia Flash, Learning Achievement
